Rosie Turns One!

It truly feels like it was just yesterday when I was photographing Rosie as a newborn baby. She has now turned one, proving that time flies and people are right when they tell you to enjoy every moment when they are little. It has been a gift to watch her grow, from the maternity session of Rosie in her Mum’s belly, to her newborn and 6 month old session, and now she’s gone and turned one on me! I can’t wait to continue to capture and watch her personality blossom!

Cake as Paint? A Cake Smash paint fest!

I like cake. A lot. I absolutely love pie, but I like cake. Most kids that come to our studio like cake. Ella on the other hand, she LOVES cake. I mean, she really couldn’t get enough of it. Using her hands to shovel it into her mouth wasn’t good enough, she had to use her feet too. Pure genius. She even started painting the floor with it. Which is far better for the environment than some paints, plus it's tastier to clean up.  Did you know that cake is a decent substitute for paint? You do now. You’re welcome.

I don’t know about you, but I think a pie smash might be a good idea. No, that’s just crazy. Pie should never be wasted by smashing. The cake must be going to my head!
